Overview

This guide will help you control SSH access to your server.

Enabling/Disabling SSH Access

Secure Shell (SSH) is a cryptographic network protocol for secure data communication, remote shell services or command execution and other secure network services between two networked computers that it connects via a secure channel over an insecure network: a server and a client.

SSH access to your server in Webuzo can be controlled as follows:

Steps:

1) Click on SSH Access from the Security Section

2) You will be redirected to a page like this.

Enabling SSH Access

1) By default, SSH Access is enabled to your server.

2) Click on the Check box (Tick) to enable SSH access and Hit Edit SSH/SFTP Settings.

3) A success message will pop-up once the SSH access setting is enabled.

Disabling SSH Access

1) Click on the Check box (Untick) to disable SSH access and Hit Edit SSH/SFTP Settings.

2) A success message will pop-up once the SSH access setting is disabled.

SSH Port Change

1) By default, SSH port is set as 22.

2) Change the port number in the Text box and Hit Edit SSH/SFTP Settings.

3) A success message will pop-up once the SSH access setting is enabled.
